Supporting adults, young people and children to overcome their challenges and reach their goals.
As an integrative counsellor, I’m committed to supporting individuals through life’s challenges, whether big or small. I work with adults, young people, and children and tailor my approach to meet everyone's unique needs. My role isn’t to tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you, helping you navigate your experiences and discover clarity, resilience, and strength.
I aim to create a warm, compassionate space where you can truly be yourself—where you feel heard, understood, and free from judgment so your personal growth and progress toward your goals feels genuine and empowering for you.
As well as working with all age groups in Peebles I also volunteer at a counselling centre in Edinburgh, working solely with children and young people. By creating a safe and supportive environment I help them explore their emotions and challenges. I love guiding and seeing them build resilience and develop coping strategies that will help them throughout their lives.
I know that considering counselling can feel intimidating, and it’s completely normal to wonder if it’s the right step for you. If you have any questions or are unsure about the process, you may find helpful information in the FAQ section. I'm more than happy to chat and answer any concerns you might have either by email or on the phone, you can contact me using the contact form.
As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I’m committed to providing professional and ethical care.

I offer adolescent counselling in a safe and supportive space where young people can explore and express their emotions during this challenging stage of life. I help teens address issues such as anxiety, identity struggles, peer pressure, academic stress and family conflicts. Using evidence-based approaches I help guide teens in developing coping skills, building self-esteem and improving emotional resilience. This can help young people navigate relationships, manage their emotions and face life’s challenges.

You may need counselling if you're looking to understand yourself better, improve your coping skills, or work through a specific issue or life transition. Counselling offers a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and any challenges you're facing. If you've been feeling sad, anxious, struggling in relationships, or having difficulty managing stress, counselling can help. It provides valuable support in developing healthier coping strategies and gaining insights into your behaviour and thought patterns.
Counselling can help with a wide range of issues:
- Anxiety
- Stress
- Relationship issues
- Trauma
- Self-esteem and identity issues
- Low self-confidence
- Setting boundaries
- Life changes (marriage, new job, divorce)
- Grief and loss
I understand that coming to counselling is a big step, so I strive to make you feel as comfortable as possible. In our first session, I'll take the time to get to know you, understand why you're seeking counselling, and explore any goals you may have. You'll also have the opportunity to ask me any questions and get a feel for how I work.
A counselling session is usually 50 minutes, although session length may vary depending on your specific needs and preferences, for example you may wish to have a longer session of 90 minutes. The frequency of sessions varies depending on your needs and goals. I offer both short-term and long-term counselling. After making progress and feeling better, some clients return for occasional one-off sessions when needed. We’ll discuss the best approach for you when you begin counselling, and we can adjust it at any time to better suit your needs.
Yes. I think it's important that you feel counselling is a safe and supportive space so everything you share is confidential, except in situations where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others. At our first session, I will explain when I would have to break confidentiality.
50 min sessions cost £50

I understand how important it is for children and teenagers not to miss too much school, so where possible I have sessions available during lunch and after school.
